Description:

Amazon is looking for a Process Assistant for its Inbound operations at its Fulfillment Center in Bangalore. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, helping deliver on Amazon's promise of timely and quality customer service.

As a Process Assistant, you'll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment. Your core responsibility will be to manage shift operations, support associates in achieving productivity, safety, and quality goals, and lead by example in maintaining a highly efficient work culture. You will also conduct audits and coordinate startup meetings to ensure the team is aligned on daily objectives.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Manage daily shift activities effectively
• Allocate tasks to associates and problem solvers
• Monitor productivity, quality, and adherence to safety protocols
• Support and coach team members, focusing on continuous improvement
• Own shift-level quality metrics and action planning
• Prepare and execute associate training and development plans
• Conduct regular 4M and 5S audits for workstations
• Coordinate Start-Up meetings with Assistant Managers and Team Leads

Key Technical Skills:

Microsoft Office, Shift Management, People Management, Safety & Quality Monitoring, Warehouse Operations, Auditing Practices (4M, 5S)

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physically able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 12 hours, and frequently bend, squat, push, and pull
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime if required
• At least 6 months of basic people management experience preferred
